After three months’ strict screening, HTOT has received the consensus of 15 Standing Council Unit and became a member of China Solid State Lighting Alliance (CSA) based on the criteria of CSA.

The CSA was founded in Oct 2004 based on the principle of “voluntary, equal, cooperative”. It is consist of key enterprises, universities and research authorities which are dedicated in LED lighting field. 441 members from mainland, Hongkong, Taiwan and foreign institutions belong to the CSA. The Alliance provides the decision support of LED to the MOST, NDRC, Ministry of Finance, related departments and local government; explores “production, study, research” collaborative innovation model actively; promotes the application of LED by organizing national demonstration project; motivates industrial standardization, intellectual property, information exchange and improves the environment of industrial development; expands the cross-strait and international cooperation, promotes international competitiveness of our country’s solid state light industry. HTOT has obtained high attentions and ratifications by LED and sapphire industry fellow colleagues, downstream customers, professional medias, all levels of government since formally putting into production in Sept. 2011. Moreover, HTOT has overcome technical difficulties and developed both domestic and foreign markets successfully only in two years. As an enterprise which concentrates on sapphire materials production, HTOT invested 42 hundred million RMB and has planned to produce 30 million pieces TIE/year of sapphire wafer at the end of 2014. HTOT is able to provide sapphire crystal, ingot, as cut wafer, polished wafer and a variety of sapphire materials, at the same time, not only meeting the requirement of large size LED substrate materials from 2 inch to 8 inch, but also the demand for sapphire windows, lenses and watch cover, etc. We have already acquired the certification of ISO9001-2008, ISO14001-2004, and OHSAS18001-2007, and the products has been widely accepted in the industries of semiconductor, chemical, aviation, aerospace, communication and so on.
